Spice Route Chenin Blanc 2018
The palate is rich and broad, reminiscent of the granite soils, with well-balanced acidity.

Spice Route's Chenin Blanc is a mouthwatering white style, with lovely underlying minerality and vibrant acidity to balance. This gorgeous white hails from old vines planted in 1978 on a south-east facing slope on decomposed granite and iron-rich clay soils, that typically produce rich, full wines. The 2017 vintage, characterised by a lack of rainfall, produced a relatively small crop of highly concentrated, high quality fruit.
Complex nose, with tropical fruits and melon starring and flinty notes adding interest. The palate is rich and broad, reminiscent of the granite soils, with well-balanced acidity.
